Unlocking PhotoSmacker

NOTE:

The following information only applies to the downloaded version of PhotoSmacker. If you purchased your copy on CD, the program was automatically unlocked during installation, and the Unlock... option in the Help menu will be disabled.

The PhotoSmacker program is distributed as shareware. The trial version will only allow you to caption 200 photos, after which you can still try the program, but any changes you make will not be saved back to disk. Purchasing an Unlock Code for the program removes this limitation, and entitles you to free incremental upgrades (bug fixes and improvements to existing features.)

To unlock your copy of PhotoSmacker:

  1. Click the "Buy Unlock Code Now" link below, and follow the on-line instructions.

  2. Once you have received your unlock code by E-mail, select the Unlock... option from the Help menu in the PhotoSmacker program.



  3. Doing this will bring up the Unlock... dialog. If you have not yet purchased and received your unlock code, you can click on the button to do so. Otherwise, ignore this button, and proceed to the next step.




  4. In Unlock... dialog, enter your user name and unlock code as they appear in your confirmation E-mail. If the user name and unlock code are correct, the button will become active. Click on this button to complete the unlock process.




  5. The About PhotoSmacker... dialog should now show the program as being licensed to you, and the program will no longer be limited to 200 photos. Thanks for purchasing Swizzy Photo PhotoSmacker.
